Study finds active patients have lower risk of 19 chronic diseases, urging healthcare to promote exercise.

Based on a survey of over 7,000 patients, the research suggests healthcare systems should assess physical activity levels and offer wellness resources to inactive patients. The study, published in "Preventing Chronic Disease," also notes that exercise counseling is often reimbursed by insurance.
