30 million-person global study finds that 75 minutes of weekly moderate-intensity exercise, like brisk walking, reduces mortality rates by 23%. Just 11 minutes daily cuts early death risk by a quarter. The University of Cambridge study, combining data from 196 peer-reviewed papers, shows small amounts of exercise can benefit heart health and reduce cancer risk. If everyone exercised 150 minutes weekly, one in six early deaths could be prevented.
