Exercise, including walking, jogging, yoga, and strength training, has been found to be an effective treatment for depression, according to a new study published in The BMJ. The study analyzed data from 218 studies on exercise and depression, with over 14,000 participants. The findings suggest that the more vigorous the activity, the greater the benefits, and that exercise can be as impactful in treating depression as therapy.
