Study shows exercise 2-3 times a week lowers insomnia risk.

Study in BMJ Open finds exercising 2-3 times a week significantly reduces risk of insomnia. Long-term exercisers were 55% more likely to be normal sleepers (6-9 hours per night) than inactive individuals. Regular exercise was linked to a lower risk of insomnia symptoms and extreme sleep duration. Exercise may improve sleep quality and duration by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing mood.
