Bhagavan "Doc" Antle, of Tiger King fame, faces federal sentencing on 27 August for conspiracy to violate the Lacey Act and conspiracy to launder money. As owner of Myrtle Beach Safari, Antle admitted to wildlife trafficking violations and could face a maximum of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release for each count. Recent investigations also found money laundering connections to transporting and harboring undocumented immigrants.
