Donaldvan Williams, 30, of Beaumont, Texas, was sentenced to 40 months in federal prison for animal cruelty under the PACT Act. He pleaded guilty to animal crushing and aiding and abetting after kicking a live cat in a parking lot in October 2021, encouraged by Decorius Mire, who received an 18-month sentence in July 2023. The PACT Act prohibits intentional harm to animals and the distribution of related content. The case was investigated by local police and the FBI.
