Travis John Branson, from Cusick, Washington, is set to be sentenced on September 18 for his involvement in a wildlife trafficking ring that allegedly killed over 118 eagles and numerous other birds for their feathers and body parts from 2009 to 2021. Prosecutors claim he made between $180,000 and $360,000 selling these parts illegally, and are seeking significant prison time and $777,250 in restitution. Branson has pleaded guilty to several charges.
