Drinking morning coffee may reduce heart disease risk and extend life, study suggests.

Drinking coffee in the morning may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and extend life, according to Dan Buettner, who studies longevity. A European Heart Journal study of over 40,000 adults found that morning coffee drinkers were 31% less likely to die from heart disease and 16% less likely to die from any cause. Consuming coffee later in the day could disrupt sleep and hormones, potentially increasing health risks.
