University of Galway and McMaster study finds daily coffee consumption over 4 cups increases stroke risk by 33%.

A study by the University of Galway and McMaster University found that consuming over four cups of coffee daily increases stroke risk by 33%. Fizzy drinks and concentrated fruit juices also heighten the risk, especially when consumed frequently. In contrast, drinking more than seven cups of water a day and several cups of black or green tea may lower stroke risk. The research involved nearly 27,000 participants from 27 countries as part of the INTERSTROKE project.
