China's first ethnic minority region fully connected by high-speed rail opens in Guangxi.

The Nanning-Yulin section of the Nanning-Zhuhai High-speed Railway has started operations in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, making it China's first ethnic minority region fully connected by high-speed rail. This reduces travel time between Nanning and Yulin from 104 minutes to 48 minutes. The project, completed in complex terrain, includes 125 bridges and 38 tunnels and is expected to boost the region's economy and ease travel.
