China's economically vibrant Yangtze River Delta region launched its first railway loop line, connecting Shanghai with major cities in the area. The loop line, coded G8388, was launched from the Shanghai Railway Station and covers over 1,200 km, with a full loop journey taking eight hours and nine minutes. The railway loop line aims to enhance integration and development within the region by connecting small cities with central cities.
