The wreck of the USS Edsall, a US Navy destroyer known as the "dancing mouse" for its evasive maneuvers in World War II, has been discovered off the coast of Australia. Commanded by Lt. Joshua Nix, the ship valiantly fought against the Imperial Japanese Navy, evading 1,400 shells and 26 dive bombers before being hit and sinking in 1942. The discovery, made by the Royal Australian Navy, was announced on Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, honoring the ship's crew and their heroic actions.
