Researchers analyzed nearly 15,000 people wearing activity monitors and found that replacing sedentary time with exercise led to lower blood pressure levels. Ten to 20 extra minutes of daily exercise was linked to a clinically meaningful blood pressure reduction, which can help reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
