44-year-old Derry man, Stephen Andrew McLaughlin, who conspired to traffic migrants into Britain, is to be extradited to the UK to face charges of breaching his release terms, as well as attempted murder, making a threat to kill, criminal damage, and assault. McLaughlin was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2016 for conspiracy to facilitate illegal entry into the UK, which led to an Afghan man's death.
