35-year-old man extradited from Northern Ireland to Romania to face murder trial. PSNI International Policing Unit worked closely with Romanian authorities, National Crime Agency, UK Border Agency, and An Garda Siochana to locate and arrest suspect for aggravated murder and two offences of aggravated robbery in Sibiu area on November 6, 2023. Man arrested in Belfast on November 18.
