Three Afghan men arrested in the UK for human trafficking and sexually abusing migrant boys.

Three Afghan members of a human trafficking gang that sexually abused young migrant boys during their journey from Afghanistan to the UK have been arrested in Britain. The gang moved thousands of migrants through Iran, Turkey, and the Balkans into Western Europe. They were previously convicted in Belgium, receiving sentences ranging from two to 18 years. Extradition proceedings are underway to send the trio to Belgium to serve their sentences. The National Crime Agency worked with Belgian authorities for two years to build evidence against the gang.
