2 Irish livestock marts fined €13,000 and €11,000 by PSRA for improper conduct involving non-client funds.

Two Irish livestock marts, Ballybay Livestock Sales and Mountbellew Regional Co-operative Livestock Mart, have been fined €13,000 and €11,000 respectively by the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) for improper conduct. The marts, which temporarily placed non-client funds into client accounts before license renewals, have cooperated fully with the investigation and have now implemented financial controls. The High Court confirmed the financial penalties as reasonable and proportionate.
