India's NIA arrests two more for supporting banned extremist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) in India has arrested two individuals in Tamil Nadu for supporting the extremist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT), which was banned in October 2024. Kabeer Ahmed Aliyar and Bava Bahrudeen were caught for their role in spreading the group's radical ideology through secret meetings. The NIA is investigating further to uncover international ties and funding of the organization. This brings the total arrests in the case to ten.
