22-year-old Nyajima Jock set a new Ballarat 200m record with a time of 23.95 seconds, breaking the previous record by three-quarters of a second. Her coach, Gerrard Keating, expects her to run even faster at the upcoming ACT titles. Another athlete, Cooper Sherman, narrowly missed breaking the 200m record with his time of 20.96 seconds. Both athletes are set to compete in the ACT titles next weekend.
