27-year-old Australian runner Jessica Hull won the Sydney Track Classic 3000m championships and set a new Australian record, six weeks after setting the 6th fastest time in history at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Tour in Boston. The event also saw Australia's women's 4x100m relay team break the national record with a time of 42.94 seconds, and the junior girls set an Australian Under 20 record with a time of 44.34 seconds.
