19-year-old Torrie Lewis has set a new record as Australia's fastest woman, breaking the previous 100-metre record by running 11.10 seconds at the Australian Institute of Sport track in Canberra.
This is one-hundredth of a second faster than the previous record held by Melissa Breen since 2012.
Lewis also improved the Australian under-20 record previously held by Raelene Boyle since 1968.
