Gavin Kline, 21, of Palmyra, was sentenced to 40 months to 10 years in prison for causing a fatal crash in 2023 while under the influence of multiple drugs. The crash killed his mother, Bethany Welch, 41, and seriously injured the driver of another vehicle. Kline pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including DUI and homicide by vehicle, and was ordered to pay over $204,300 in restitution.
