The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) in Singapore will raise its retirement age to 64 and re-employment age to 69 starting January 1, 2025, a year and a half ahead of the national plan. This move aims to support older workers and provide them with more training and job opportunities. Around 448 workers will benefit from the retirement age increase, and about 271 from the re-employment age rise.
