66-year-old woman rescued from Panther Creek Falls in Georgia, injured ankle, airlifted to hospital.

A 66-year-old woman was rescued from Panther Creek Falls in Habersham County, Georgia, after injuring her ankle. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) was alerted, and both Habersham EMS and Rabun EMA provided initial care. DNR Aviation conducted a short haul extraction, transporting her three miles to Habersham Fire Station 17, from where she was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Demorest for further treatment.
