NHS waiting lists exceed 7.63 million treatments, with routine hospital treatment times worsening.

NHS waiting lists have increased for the third consecutive month, reaching 7.63 million treatments and 6.39 million patients. While A&E waiting times and cancer treatment times have shown improvement, overall routine hospital treatment waiting times have worsened. The number of patients waiting over 65 weeks for treatment has slightly risen, and the target for eliminating all waits over 18 months by April 2023 remains unmet.
