17-member OPPD crew aided power restoration in Iowa and Illinois after major storms.
17-person Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) crew returned home after a week in Iowa and Illinois, assisting power restoration efforts following a line of major storms. OPPD team supported MidAmerican Energy and ComEd in restoring power to thousands of customers after severe weather. OPPD's mutual aid team included 4 line crews, a safety team, supervisor, and 2 transportation mechanics.
