100+ OG&E workers sent to Houston for storm recovery efforts, aiding CenterPoint Energy after 1M residents lose power.

Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) has sent over 100 workers to Houston to aid in storm recovery efforts following severe storms and high winds that left about one million residents without power. OG&E's assistance was requested by CenterPoint Energy, Houston's primary electricity provider. OG&E's mutual assistance crews can be deployed for up to 14 days, with additional crews available if needed.
