Thousands of North Tulsa residents experienced a power outage, but as of 1:45 p.m., the number of customers without power reduced to fewer than 500. The Public Service Co. of Oklahoma (PSO) reports the outage area covered from north of Pine Street, east and west of U.S. 75. Restoration efforts are underway, with the largest area expected to have power restored by 2 p.m. The cause of the outage is yet to be confirmed.
