A woman in Ireland who stabbed her 76-year-old mother to death, believing she was the devil, will remain at the Central Mental Hospital (CMH) for ongoing treatment. A Central Criminal Court judge made the order following a jury's special verdict of not guilty of murder by reason of insanity. Dr. Ronan Mullaney, a consultant forensic psychiatrist at CMH, reported that the woman still suffers from a mental disorder and requires treatment.
