University of Nebraska Medical Center appoints H. Dele Davies as interim chancellor following Jeffrey P. Gold's transition to NU president.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) has appointed H. Dele Davies, M.D., as its interim chancellor, following the transition of Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., to the role of NU president. Dr. Davies, who has been the primary academic leader at UNMC for over a decade, previously held the positions of senior vice chancellor for academic affairs and dean of graduate studies. His appointment is effective immediately, subject to formal approval by the Board of Regents.
