University of Nebraska Medical Center opens free dental clinic, VETSmile Dental Clinic, for uninsured veterans.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center has opened a free dental clinic called VETSmile Dental Clinic in Lincoln for veterans not covered by dental benefits. The clinic aims to provide free dental care to veterans enrolled in the VA health care system and receiving primary care at the Lincoln VA Clinic. UNMC Interim Chancellor Dele Davies stated the clinic is an important part of the institution's community engagement efforts.
