Interim Chancellor Charlie Bicak appointed at University of Nebraska at Kearney, succeeding Doug Kristensen.

University of Nebraska Interim President Chris Kabourek has announced that Charlie Bicak, a UNK alumnus and former educator, will serve as interim chancellor for the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) beginning June 1, succeeding current Chancellor Doug Kristensen. Bicak's appointment, which is subject to approval by the Board of Regents, comes as UNK conducts a national search for a permanent chancellor, with a search committee and executive search firm CarterBaldwin assisting the process.
