Nikki Hiltz won the women's 1,500 meters at the U.S. Olympic trials in a meet-record time of 3 minutes, 55.33 seconds, breaking Elle St. Pierre's record of 3:58.03. All top eight finishers bettered four minutes and set personal records. St. Pierre, who had already won the 5,000 in this meet, finished third with a time of 3:55.99. The top three finishers qualified for the Olympics.
