Twenty-year-old U.S. speedskater Jordan Stolz won the men's 1,500 meters at the ISU World Cup in Calgary, setting a new track record of 1 minute, 41.22 seconds.
Stolz, a six-time world champion, remains undefeated in the 1,500, 1,000, and 500 meters this season.
In the women's 5,000 meters, Dutch skaters Joy Beune and Merel Conijn placed first and second, while Canadian skater Isabelle Weidemann finished fifth.
