Kenyan athlete Faith Kipyegon broke her own world record in the women's 1,500 meters at the Diamond League track and field meeting in Paris, finishing with a time of 3:49.04. This surpassed her previous record of 3:49.11, set in Florence, Italy. Kipyegon, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in the 1,500 meters, and a four-time World Champion, is considered one of the top athletes in track and field.
