Ofcom investigates Royal Mail for failing to meet first-class and second-class mail delivery targets.

Regulators Ofcom have launched an investigation into Royal Mail after it delivered only 74.5% of first-class mail on time in the last year, failing to meet its 93% target. Royal Mail also missed its 98.5% target of second-class post being delivered in three days, delivering only 92.4% on time. If Ofcom determines that Royal Mail has failed to comply with its obligations, it may impose a financial penalty.
