The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) announces adoption of 2 new codes to replace existing Children and Young Peoples Advertising Code and food rules in November 2024. ASA Chief Executive Hilary Souter says these robust new codes extend advertising restrictions and provide safeguards for children and consumers, complementing current legislation. The codes are designed to support responsible advertising in New Zealand.
