33-year-old Zachary Bishop charged with child endangerment and murder in August 2023 death of 5-year-old.

33-year-old Blue Ridge man, Zachary Alan Bishop, has been charged with two felonies, child endangerment and murder, in connection with the August 2023 death of a 5-year-old boy. The child was pronounced unresponsive and later died at Roanoke Memorial Hospital from a homicide determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner's autopsy. Bishop was indicted by a Botetourt County Circuit Court grand jury on March 4, 2024.
