26-year-old Louisiana man, Trevian Demalle Carruth, faces second-degree murder charges in connection with the death of a 4-month-old in Craig County, Virginia. The infant was found unresponsive, and the medical examiner later confirmed the cause of death as a homicide. Carruth was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and is being held without bond at the Botetourt County Jail.
