CBI arrested Patwari Varun Choudhary & Chowkidar Dayal Chand in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, for allegedly demanding a bribe for issuing Girdawari land.
The CBI arrested a Patwari and his associate, Chowkidar, in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 50,000 for issuing Girdawari land. The accused, Varun Choudhary and Dayal Chand, were caught during the transaction of a bribe of Rs 9,000 after a trap was laid by the CBI. The case was registered based on a complaint filed against the Patwari.
