Jammu and Kashmir ACB arrested a Patwari for demanding and accepting a bribe for issuing Virasati Intqal and legal heir certificates.
The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a Patwari in Kathua district for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 for issuance of Virasati Intqal and legal heir certificate. The ACB took action after receiving a complaint from a resident alleging that the Patwari demanded Rs 5,000 for the documents. The Patwari was caught red-handed during a trap laid by the ACB team.
