18-Mar-2024: Hato Hone St John breached Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights for failing to properly assess a man with a suspected heart attack and contradicting his GP's advice. The man was triaged as potentially serious, but not immediately life-threatening, and Fire and Emergency NZ was sent instead of a St John ambulance, causing a delay in care. St John apologised unreservedly.
