Hydrogen specialist GeoPura receives £56m investment, including £30m from the UK Infrastructure Bank, to expand operations in Newcastle and create 400 jobs. GeoPura's Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) replace traditional diesel generators, emit zero harmful emissions, and aim to have over 3,600 units by 2033, providing clean, low-cost power and reducing CO2 emissions.
