Tata Steel SEZ and Hygenco sign MoU for a green hydrogen & ammonia project at Gopalpur Industrial Park with 1 MnTPA production by Dec 2026.
Tata Steel SEZ and HHP Five Private Limited (Hygenco) signed an MoU to establish a green hydrogen & green ammonia project at TSSEZL's Gopalpur Industrial Park in Odisha. Hygenco aims to produce 1 MnTPA from this plant in phases and commission the initial phase by Dec 2026. This will increase the total committed capacity of green hydrogen and green ammonia manufacturing at the Industrial Park to 2.6 MnTPA.
