Sri Lanka's president promises suspects will face the High Court, not indefinite remand.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake of Sri Lanka assured the public that the government aims to indict and file cases against arrested suspects in the High Court, not to keep them in remand. Suspects can be released on bail if they aren't obstructing investigations or involved in public Property Act cases. The government has instructed authorities to ensure these processes are followed to serve justice.
