More than 70 dogs, including injured puppies, were removed from a rural Alberta property due to animal cruelty concerns. The 64-year-old owner faced charges including animal cruelty and assault on a police officer. The Alberta SPCA is caring for the dogs until they can be adopted. The owner, now in compliance with a livestock limit order, is banned from owning more than 30 livestock for 10 years.
