Bell Textron will continue producing the fuselage for the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) in Wichita, Kansas, after terminating its contract with Spirit Aerosystems. The program is entering the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase, with operations starting soon. The FLRAA aims to enhance military capabilities, offering greater speed and range than current helicopters. Prototypes are expected to fly by 2026, with initial production in 2028.
