Singapore has commissioned its first two Invincible-class submarines, RSS Invincible and RSS Impeccable, enhancing its naval capabilities. Built by thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, these submarines are designed for shallow, busy waters and feature advanced technology. They replace the older Challenger-class subs and are expected to serve for 30 years. The third and fourth submarines are set to arrive by 2028, reflecting Singapore's commitment to maritime defense evolution.
