Bentonville officer Nutt won't face charges for shooting Nathaniel Crabtree, who attacked two women, as use of lethal force was deemed justified under Arkansas law.
Bentonville Police Officer Omri-Andrew Nutt will not face charges for the shooting death of Nathaniel Mark Crabtree in July. Prosecutor Joshua Robinson determined the use of lethal force was justified under Arkansas law, as Crabtree had violently attacked two women and posed an imminent threat. The shooting occurred after officers responded to a 911 call about the disturbance. Nutt had initially deployed a taser before resorting to his firearm.
