24-year-old ex-Navy sailor, Joseph Nicholas Medina, is sentenced to five years in prison for aggravated involuntary manslaughter in a DUI-related incident that killed his shipmate, Zachary Michael Soussa, in December 2022. Medina, who had a blood alcohol level of 0.25, more than three times the legal limit, pleaded guilty to the charge and faces a maximum active sentence of seven years.
